Upon learning about this initiative, CHC fully supported it by sponsoring registration fees for employees and their families, providing transportation subsidies, and encouraging broader participation among employees. The activity aimed to promote health awareness and strengthen family bonds.<\/p>\n<p>However, due to age restrictions in the event rules, several employees were unable to participate as runners. Upon discovering that many participants were senior and underprivileged runners sponsored by the CHC Charity Foundation, CHC collaborated with the event organizer, [Let We Care], to find a solution. They invited ineligible employees to join as volunteer running guides, accompanying these runners throughout the race.<\/p>\n<p>After the event, employees who served as volunteer running guides shared their experiences. They noted that beyond running alongside the senior and underprivileged runners, much of their role involved simply &#8220;keeping them company\u2014listening and talking to them.&#8221; They realised that what the seniors truly needed wasn\u2019t just physical activity but also meaningful companionship.
